Italian Elopements is a trading name of Real Italian Weddings Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17305376), which is the data controller for this site. Registered office: 39 Peakes Place, Granville Road, St Albans, AL1 5AY, United Kingdom.

What we collect. What you send us by email or WhatsApp: your names, contact details, your date and anything you tell us about your plans. If you use our two-minute check, Can we marry in Italy?, we keep your answers with your name and email so we can email you a copy of your answer and your legal checklist, and reply to you personally. If you tick the box on the check, we also send you our occasional emails about marrying in Italy; every one of them has an unsubscribe link. We use all of this to answer you and, if you go ahead, to arrange your wedding.

Who sees it. Only the people who need it to do that work: us, the comune, the translator or interpreter on your wedding, and MailerLite, which sends our emails. We never sell it.

How long we keep it. Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted after two years; client files are kept as long as the law requires for company records.

Cookies. The site uses Google Analytics and Google Ads to measure visits and enquiries. They load by default and you can switch them off with "No thanks" on the banner; your choice is remembered in this browser.

Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing ciao@italianelopements.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
